Unfortunately, this is not an automatic process due to the old-school clunky blog host I use, and it relies on a real human being (ie: me) to do site admin stuff.
So it might take a day or two.  But hey, I build valve amps, so surely you don't expect too much silicon in this blog zone.  And what's digital all about, anyway...

Roadside Wreck Amps

Here’s another Roadside Wreck amp.

These amps are built using parts found in garage sales or found by the side of the road on hard waste day.  In this case, we have a small cabinet that used to be a little solid state PA which I picked up for $5.  It ain't pretty, but for $5, what do you expect?!

The chassis was just the right size for three x nine-pin valves and a “back-to-back” power supply.  Add an 8” speaker found by the side of the road, and we have a great little practice amp.   The cash outlay was limited to the box, a set of transformers, a set of knobs and the control panel.  Everything else came from my  junk box.

I'm getting several dozen bottles of wine to cover my labour and profit - which just goes to show that the barter economy is alive and well - I have a bit of a cellar, and another customer has a hand built valve amp.
